Transparent Policies for a Safe and Nurturing Environment
At Loving Arms Family Home Child Care, our policies are designed to create a secure, respectful, and nurturing environment for every child. We strive for transparency with our families, ensuring everyone understands the guidelines that help us maintain the highest standards of care.
Enrollment Policy
During the visit, the parent or legal guardian and the provider will have a personal interview with each other. We will have a tour of the classroom and playground and go over the handbook. The following forms must be completed and brought back the day the child(ren) starts. The information in these forms will remain confidential.

6. Safe Sleep Acknowledgement (infants under 12 months)

Termination Policy
If at any time you decide to discontinue the program, a written or typed notice must be received to the provider two weeks in advance along with any tuition due for those two weeks. Once the termination process has begun, the provider will begin to fill the child’s slot in the program with enrollment of another child. There is also a two trial and error for the child as well. If the provider does not think that child care is not for the child, you will also be giving a two week notice.
Tuition Rates
Enrollment Fee: $25.00 annually
Infants: $220.00 weekly
Toddlers: $195.00 weekly
2yr old: $190.00 weekly
3-5yr: $180.00 weekly
School-age: $120.00 weekly
Late tuition: $30.00
Late pick up: $5.00 ea/ minute
Early Drop-off: $5.00 ea/minute
Payment Policy
All tuition payments must be paid on time. Late tuition fees are $30.00 for each late day. For parents using the weekly or the bi-weekly plan, the entire tuition is due at the time of dropping your child off Monday Morning.
For parents using the monthly plan, the entire tuition is due at the beginning of the month on the FIRST MONDAY at the time of dropping your child off. For parents receiving subsidized funding and having a parent fee, the entire tuition fee will be due on the First of each month
Failure to make these tuition payments on or before the deadline will result in an assessment of late tuition charges in the amount of $20.00, which will be added to tuition fee. Your child will not be able to return back to the facility until the entire payment has been paid.

Early Drop off Policy
The earliest time dropoff will be allowed will be 6:15A.M. In the event you drop off your child early, there will be a $5.00 fee for every minute before our normal business hours.
Late Pick up Policy
Loving Arms Family Home Child Care Center understands that emergencies happen. In the event that you have an emergency please contact me as soon as possible. In the event you are late picking up your child(ren) and have not contacted me there will be consequences.

FIRST OFFENSE: Verbal warning and late fee.

SECOND OFFENSE: Documentation of tardy and double the late fee amount.

THIRD OFFENSE: Could lead to possible termination.

Substitute Arrangement
If the owner/Director should get hurt or become ill, will be called in to run the business. Our administrator/ staff are certified in First Aid and CPR and ITS SIDS, and complete a criminal record check every 3 years. They are highly trained to run the facility.
Severe Weather Policy
Loving Arms Family Home Child Care Center is on the same severe weather closings as the Pitt County Public School System. When there is severe weather, please tune in to WNCT channel 9; whenever uncertain please call the facility at 252-228- 0107
Snow/Storm
If the provider decides prior to opening hours not to open the facility, families will be notified by telephone, immediately. If you cannot be reached, then the provider will begin to call people from the emergency list. If there are any questions about openings or closings, contact the provider before leaving your home.
